"After War Gundam X" 30th Anniversary Special Site

On the 30th Anniversary of After War Gundam X30 years ago, in the middle of all that chaos and despair, the cast and staff came together and poured their hearts into making this project. Knowing that it’s stayed in people’s hearts for so long truly fills me with gratitude. Garrod, living strong and honest through the harsh, ruined postwar world, was really our symbol of hope. It is hard to believe that 30 years have already passed, but the cast and crew have all been in wonderful spirits, and every time after recording it would turn into a celebratory gathering. The promises of "just one quick drink" or "one last drink to wrap things up" were never once kept. Yet without fail, the night would always end with a passionate conversation about acting.
More and more, I have been hearing from people who tell me they grew up watching 'Gundam X' as children. Knowing that a work from those days has continued to live on, supported by so many devoted fans, is something truly special and nothing brings me greater joy.Horiuchi Kenyuu
